I had heard of the Orielles before, but had never experienced them live before. At the moment they were playing at the Academy 1, their music was all I needed after the long day of running through Manchester City Centre from venue to venue! Chill indiepoptunes and a cold pint were all I needed to get ready for the afterparty that was awaiting us. The catchy sound of the band matches perfectly with their singers voice – a bit dreamy and sometimes poppy. I’m a fan now!
