Xposure Music is the new music platform connecting up-and-coming artists with A&Rs, producers and managers, the Montreal-based start-up hopes to unlock a new door into the music industry by providing a platform that benefits both musicians and industry professionals. The platform was co-founded by Gregory Walfish, who mentioned that their aim is to compress months of trying to connect with professionals into a short and snappy interaction between artists and pros.
Ideally, Xposure Music becomes a one-stop shop for emerging artists, to find the professionals that would potentially be able to make them the next big hit. The platform believes they are building the future following an era during which artists were still able to post their music to, or visit the offices of, labels and management companies. They differentiate themselves from others by focusing on the individual experience, “Other platforms limit you to a certain number of characters and do little to prevent reviewers from posting unhelpful or even hurtful comments.”
“The next Adele or Michael Jackson might not be good at social media. They may be talented in other ways. They deserve to be heard.”
