Visa On Arrival – Saturday Night, Alone

We all know first impressions count, and Visa On Arrival left a good one with ‘Saturday Night, Alone’. The song is a welcome alt pop breather driven by simple, nearly spoken, vocals, and a warm and colourful soundscape. The song’s steady rhythm is one hard not to move along to and its vocals are heart wrenching at times. These two and a half minutes of sound made us feel seen and understood, with its driving sound and natural sounding vocals, and we’ve undoubtedly all been in similar situations to the one described on ‘Saturday Night, Alone’…

Buster Truss, the artist behind Visa On Arrival, sings about loneliness on his final release ahead of summer. “‘Saturday Night, Alone’ is a song about loneliness, and how sometimes unintentional mistakes and flakiness of friends can really take a mental toll.” Visa On Arrival is a project designed to get people moving, looking at tragedies with a light-hearted gaze, and ‘Saturday Night, Alone’ does exactly that!

“Just trying to keep it light, baby!”
