This hazy and soft, unhurried and warm-coated single is the latest by London’s fast emerging outfit The Horn. ‘Too Many Moments’ is driven by sweetly shimmering guitars and friendly vocals. The single follows up previously released anti-authority anthem ‘Another Way’, which got our attention! ‘Too Many Moments’ is their second of 2023 and it is a wandering and repetitive, almost meditative alternative pop track, bordering on a shoegaze-y sound.
Their sound could be described as a Britpop-infused hazy indie pop sound that fizzes and sizzles like no other. But calling it Britpop isn’t doing the song justice, this is a more refined and slightly more enigmatic sound, though simple at its core. The band takes their inspiration from their London life, and writes about cautionary tales as well as growing up and the dismissal of being held back by the rules, self-doubt and authority figures. We are looking forward to hear what comes next from The Horn!
