New indie/rock: James Blake, Gold Fever and Baudelaire

James Blake – Loading

James Blake is back with his new single ‘Loading’, taken from his upcoming album ‘Playing Robots Into Heaven’. The producer, singer, and songwriter is known for his unique sound, an eclectic blend of R&B vocals, deep bass and minimal rhythmic elements of dubstep. His latest is an intricate one, soft and robotic and slowly building towards its crescendo. The song is a slow grower, a slow builder and made interesting by its beautifully sharp female vocals!

Gold Fever – Leather (Wish I Felt The Same)

A new and dynamic, fast paced, swaying rock song was released by Gold Fever. Their ‘Leather (Wish I Felt The Same)’ is infectious, slightly sultry and built on an uplifting summer tone strengthened by warm vocals. The energy that comes from this exciting mix of indie rock and synth pop is one we don’t want to let go off again. This fun-filled, bouncing, and punching track will be right up the alley of lovers of The War On Drugs and The Futureheads!

Baudelaire – Lose the Feeling

A dark new wave sound blends well with echoing synths, as Baudelaire proves on their latest ‘Lose the Feeling’. Those dark and warm, exotic vocals bring colour to their grand and anthemic soundscape that is driven by hints of indie and synth rock. ‘Lose the Feeling’ is a Muse-like track with thumping drums and a personality that makes Baudelaire stand out from others within their genre. ‘Lose the Feeling’ might be the best of their musical catalogue so far!
