London-based rock’n’roll outfit Shooting Galleries have recently released their sharp new dark rock single ‘Swan Song’. The single is a slowly building track with soft vocals and beautifully grafted guitar lines that lead the song forward throughout. The song was already a fan favourite during live shows, but is now available for us all to rock out to!
The song sounds like a fragile fairy-tale, a bittersweet pop rock track with strong and melancholic vocals, and a pensive soundscape. About their new release, songwriter and lead vocalist Brandon said: “‘Swan Song’ is about being at a crossroads in life, as well as, within yourself. It’s the line between presenting how people want you to be and who you actually are. We all wear masks and it changes depending on who you’re with and where you are; and if indeed you want to share your true self with the people around you.”
‘Swan Song’ heralds a new era for the ambitious and poetic five-piece, and will soon be followed by more dauntingly beautiful rock!
