North East-based band Sugar Roulette have just released their haunting new single ‘Fever Dream’. The track is infectious and uplifting and as powerful as any great local alternative rock band. Their latest is a heavy alternative track featuring lead vocals from both singer Reece and drummer Finn, with a full breakdown in the middle and some surprising compositions, ending abruptly, leaving us longing for more.
“‘Fever Dream’ is a reflection of the overwhelming worries and stresses of everyday life. It explores the feeling of being trapped in a fever dream and refusing help from others even during your worst moments.” The song is a driving and energetic, eccentric one, which cements Sugar Roulette’s position within the local scene. The band performed at local all-dayer The Gathering Sounds alongside Red Rum Club and Sophie and the Giants, got praised by local media, and took part in Stockton’s all-dayer Stockton Calling.
With ‘Fever Dream’ the band will undoubtedly soon cross the borders into new territory.
