September Round Up

Ships Have Sailed x Abby Posner – Get Loud

Grand, foot-stomping and loud, are what sum up ‘Get Loud’, the latest collaboration by Ships Have Sailed and Abby Posner. This bluesy roots rock anthem is a fantastic and colourful, almost theatrical new release that is a hard not to bounce along to! The song is driven by a deeper story with roots in the US, anger and a powerful voice is speaking to us all to fight for the rights of the many, who are often stripped from their power by the (rich) few! We dig a good protest song, and this’ll make the perfect anthem to our next protest!

Theo Adler – Revealer

Soft and ethereal, it’s Theo Adler’s ‘Revealer’, a soft and shimmering new alternative pop track with beautifully fragile vocals brings a warm palette of colour to our hazy Sunday. The song follows the announcement of the release of his debut EP! Inspired by neo-soul, bossa nova and alternative rock, ‘Revealer’ is a song about being let down by someone who you were relying on, and finding the inner resilience to move on.

Lone Wild – Knockdown Dragout

The Vancouver-based quartet talk about the emotional highs and lows of a relationship on their latest single, and it’s turned out being a comforting banger.

Fazerdaze – Bigger

Angelic vocals and subtly synthy pop rock soundscapes colour ‘Bigger’ and make it an intriguing, as well as infectious listen!

The indie rock band know how to create a captivating sound and on ‘Run’ they mobilise and ensure their fans that, “in an unsure career of being a musicians, we will continue this if they are willing to joins us for the journey.” A strong message that resonates.

Following ‘Pressure’, the band are gearing up for a string of live shows this autumn including a headline show in Manchester and a support for The Vacant Lots in London. ‘Pressure’ is a pulsating punk track with which the band typically close their live show, and we would love to experience that!

We Cry Wolf – Running

‘Running’ is the brand new and powerful rock track by We Cry Wolf, driven by passionate vocals and an enigmatic pop punk soundscape, the song is the first of the band to be released under Wild Cove Recordings Ltd. The Scottish rock band formed in 2018 and have been developing their anthemic sound ever since. It is the hints of influences from Muse and Twenty One Pilots, to name a few stadium rock bands, that had me hooked!
