Sea Legs – Beginnings

‘Beginnings’ is built on the foundations of Sea Legs‘ eclectic alternative rock sound and it is proving the bands’ musical abilities. Slowly building towards an eclectic and almost theatrical chorus, the song builds and builds and turns into orgasmic organ outro. The unconventional Leeds-based indie quartet know how to stun and surprise…

‘Beginnings’ is the focus track of their new EP ‘A Place To Hide’, and perfectly sums up the EP’s cathartic struggle with a fear of change, identity, and isolation. “Beginnings is about starting over in life, going as far as creating a new identity and moving away. It’s about understanding that necessary personal changes are never easy to make.”

The four-piece don’t abide by regular indie norms and bring a fresh sound to the scene by being unapologetically themselves. With hints of alternative and indie pop, ‘Beginnings’ is a tender track with lively elements and a refined finish, have a listen for yourself below.
