After a six year hiatus, Los Angeles-based alternative rock outfit Maudlin Strangers are back with the release of ‘I’m Not In The Right Mind’. This heavy rock track is filled with delicious riffs and resembles a sound a la Queens Of The Stone Age combined with a Turner-like swagger.
Maudlin Strangers started out as the solo project of Jake Hays and has grown into a full own rock outfit now known to fans as the band to bringing eclectic dark indie anthems. The Los Angeles native began his solo indie rock project in 2010 and has been honing his craft ever since. ‘I’m Not In The Right Mind’ is a perfect example of their deliciously dark alternative rock sound yet it shimmers and sparkles and makes us feel comforted and ready for a night out filled with alternative bangers!
