Black Water County have released their brand new album ‘The Only Life Worth Living’ and announced a UK headline tour at the tail end of this year!
Their new ten track album is their third studio album and features the band’s three most recent single releases, which makes the album a thrilling and frantically joyous collection of music with tracks such as the banjo-led ‘Cruel State Of Mind’ and beautiful ballad ‘Second Guessing’. Another pensive folk pop track is single ‘Here We Are Again’, and a favourite is chaotic folk punk track ‘Before Things Get Worse’! Black Water County’s strength is ever-evolving soundscapes, empowering vocals and thundering soundscapes, which is exactly what ‘The Only Life Worth Living’ brings!
“’The Only Life Worth Living’ spans the course of reaching rock bottom with a bank of broken hearts, to throwing caution to the wind and then cycling all the way back round again,” say the band. “Our twist of folk instrumentation with modern rock entangles the collection of tracks into a whiplash of energy, while remaining loyal to the Black Water County sound.”

They are no stranger to the stage and have played alongside Flogging Molly, The Skints and played UK festivals all over the country including Beautiful Days, Belladrum, Black Deer and WOMAD. They also crossed the pond and performed in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and France and will be no doubt be growing their live audience with the above mentioned UK dates!
