New releases: Lee Switzer-Woolf, Natalie Clark and def.fo

Lee Switzer-Woolf – Ototoxin

A subtly shimmering new soft pop song was released by Lee Switzer-Woolf, ‘Ototoxin’ is a tongue-twister and mind-bender. The song is the first since the release of his second album ‘Annihilation’ which was released six months ago. The single is a celebration of the album’s six months of existing, and a soft and soothing introduction to the artist!

‘Ototoxin’ is a “love letter to pain medication, written when I was suffering with back problems, and was home-recorded in the same sessions as my album, but despite being a favourite it was left aside because thematically and sonically it didn’t fit with the rest.” The song finally deserves the spotlight and attention it deserves, being a hazy and unhurried indie pop song driven by gorgeous vocals and delicious guitar licks!

Natalie Clark – Freedom

Natalie Clark’s uplifting and frolicking new alternative pop song is an addictive one we couldn’t help but listen to on repeat. ‘Freedom’ is aptly titled and shows the Scottish indie phenomenon at her most adventurous. Its gospel-infused production makes the song an outstanding celebration of angelic alt-pop!

The songstress encourages her audience, old and new, to seize the moment and live the life they’ve imagined. It is fanatically upbeat and empowering and undeniably catchy! It is the indie pop booster we needed on this already dark afternoon. There’s no time for winter depression with Natalie Clark through your speakers!

def.fo – Autumn Leaves

This, quite literally, autumnal breezy pop song is a subtle masterpiece driven by warm vocals and a colourful guitar-driven soundscape. def.fo’s ‘Autumn Leaves’ is a soft and soothing, comforting alternative folk pop song crafted carefully. Sounding warm and bluesy, the song is the perfect remedy for our winter blues and makes us glow in the light of autumn ahead of the winter that’s on our doorstep.

def.fo remind us that adversity can be overcome and that brighter days are ahead, supported by the beautiful sound of the violin. “Get ready to embark on a heartfelt reflection through the ever-changing season of life.”
