Folk singer songwriter Amelia Coburn recently shared her new single ‘See Saw’ ahead of her debut solo album which is set to be released early 2024!
Hers is a soft and wandering sound, inspired by fairy tales and superstitions gathered on travels around the world. Coburn’s voice is a beautifully angelic one and takes us on a journey of childhood fascination, swaying softly and mesmerising from the beginning until the end. ‘See Saw’ listens like a magical music box filled with alternative folk and theatrical show suspense.
The Middlesbrough-born artist received national airplay, was nominated for the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards, and supported artists such as The Wedding Present and Ashley Campbell. ‘See Saw’ is her best example of a storytelling folk pop sound so far, an exciting lead for the upcoming album!
