The title of this new alternative rock track tickled us a little, ‘Never Tickle a Tiger’ is our introduction to punk rock outfit Desmerelda and it is a good one at that! Their latest release is an energetic and fasted paced one, with a soundscape made up of organised chaos. Add a layer of natural vocals to that, and get ready for a journey that takes you from warm bass lines, to filthy riffs, and back to driving drums!
Those of us that are a fan of suave rock a la Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age (us!), Desmerelda will quench a thirst that hasn’t been quenched in a while. They describe their music as “fun loving music for the whole family” but it really does depend on what your family is into… Either way, we are into it, and that’s what counts!
