A new and highly energetic, fast paced, chaotic punk rock track was released by fast rising outfit Wodan Boys. Their latest release is ‘Fun Fact’, the bouncing rock track is groovy and to the point and takes the piss out of self help reels and ‘fun facts’, Wodan Boys “don’t really care about it”!
Fanatic guitar lines and a dark but energetic, rocking soundscape dresses their sharp and spoken vocals, singing what we’ve been thinking for a while now. No one knows the reason we are mind-numbingly watching Instagram reels over and over again, instead of sweating out all the toxins we inhale every day in a venue hidden away in a street we shouldn’t walk alone at night. I hope I painted the picture well enough for what I expect a Wodan Boys show would, or should, be like. Exotic, exciting, and exhilarating. Because that is what ‘Fun Fact’ is, open, and honest, exactly what we’d expected from this band that have well and truly left their mark on the Dutch music scene.
Now it’s time for this young group of loudmouths to cross the borders, cross the seas, and make their mark on the global music industry, because they say what others are too afraid to say. They balance a tin line between violent guitars and cheeky melodic hooks, and on ‘Fun Fact’ nearly lost their balance in favour chaos, which in my opinion is never a bad thing.
