Tyler Meacham – dream house

A soft and warm, emotive new folk pop song was released by singer songwriter Tyler Meacham. Her latest is called ‘dream house’, it is a wandering and darling release built on her soft voice and a minimalistic guitar-driven soundscape.

The emotional folk pop track was inspired and influenced by artists such as Lizzy McAlpine and Sara Bareilles, though takes its strength from a slower and more gentle sound then aforementioned. Meacham is a writer, producer, and singer songwriter based out of Richmond, VA, and ‘dream house’ is her return to streaming platforms after her 2022 album ‘Into The Fray’.

“‘dream house’ is a song about the dreams we don’t realize we have until they’re gone. Sometimes it’s little things, like who might be in the crowd on your wedding day, or how many kids you’ll have, or if you’ll have kids at all, how long your parents will be around. We keep these big little dreams tucked away somewhere out of mind until we either find ourselves in them or find ourselves without them.”

It’s vibrant and wandering soundscape is mesmerising and memorable and makes us want to listen to ‘dream house’ on repeat.
