New Trouser Press Books releases by Jim Sullivan and Harold Bronson

2023 inductee into the New England Music Hall of Fame Jim Sullivan spent years writing for countless national publications, interviewed and reviewed countless musicians and many of them multiple times. Last year, Trouser Press Books published two volumes of his music writing. Now, they’ve been combined into one eBook with 11 new chapters.

The in total 71 chapters feature an eclectic collection of artists, spanning generations and styles including Jerry Lee Lewis, Ian Hunter, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Nico, Brian Eno, Bryan Ferry and so many more. The collection is now available in eBook-form.

Harold Bronson co-founded Rhino Records, America’s leading reissue label, and put decades of rock and roll history back into musical circulation. With boundless enthusiasm and a near-photographic memory, he channelled his passion into writing for the UCLA Daily Bruin and then Rolling Stone as well as other magazines. He launched Rhino Records from the back room of the Los Angeles record store he then managed, that role put him in business with many of those same artists, working to bring old and new music to the public.

‘Time Has Come Today’ was published in hardcover and eBook in 2023 and reports on meals with famous stars, limo rides, being in the studio with Black Sabbath, and parties with Alice Cooper to name a few outrageous events. Trouser Press Books released both aforementioned and is a division of Trouser Press LLC, an independent published based in New York City that specialises in music journalism and literary fiction. Editorial Director Ira Robbins co-founded the legendary rock magazine Trouser Press in 1974 and now operates its website.
