Sarah Ann Rée – Love is a Parallax

Irish indie folk singer songwriter Sarah Ann Rée released her latest poetic alternative folk single just last month, ‘Love is a Parallax’ is a wanderingly hazy new release we could easily listen to on repeat!

Her bright voice shines throughout the track and its subtle soundscape. A story told softly through her extensive vocal range drives the captivating track and makes it an addictive listen. With a hint of blues she opens the track and with a steady rhythm she keeps it engaging throughout. On ‘Love is a Parallax’ Sarah Ann Reé takes us on a journey through personal experiences and reflections. Her lyrics are relatable and her simplistic soundscapes soothing.

The indie folk-inspired singer-songwriter is originally from Belfast and now based in Bristol, she draws inspiration from artists including Joni Mitchell, Adrianne Lenker, and The Weather Station and creates captivating, folk-induced soundscapes. She’s immersed herself in a diverse range of musical landscapes which makes her music enriched and introspective. Sarah just released her debut EP ‘Life in Pink’ and is working on an album funded by Youth Music Next Generation, oh to be young again… She’s performed all over the country and hopefully she’ll do so again soon.
