Blue and Gold – Golden Hearth

‘Golden Hearth’ is the latest joyful celebration of mortality in the form of soft folk pop sounds by Blue and Gold. Blue and Gold is a collaboration between singer Ildikó Kerék and Bristol based songwriter Ben Hooton.

The two have created a comforting and hazy, angelic soundscape that is driven by softly thumping percussion and gorgeously sparkling vocals leading us through an enchanted musical forest. Ildikó previously collaborated with artists such as Ade Omotayo and Same Lee, and brings a voice holding honest wisdom and a heartfelt passion to any soundscape and ‘Golden Hearth’ in particular.

Those wandering vocal harmonies make the single a grand and confident alternative sound bringing something different to our playlists. She adds a warm and velvety layer to the sounds that make up this new release, a track they both hope resonates in some way, Blue and Gold hope that my words reach you and resonate, that you find “this tiny release in the sea of other hopefuls”.
