Her warm vocals singing unapologetic lyrics made this release stand out to us, ‘Take You Home’ is a story told through simple vocals and a hazy, colourful soundscape. The song is a strong mix of influences taken from indie rock and folk, and brings a softer play on folk rock to the forefront. ‘Take You Home’ captures themes of bold, unapologetic love and shares them through emotive vocals and impactful lyrics.
She was influences by Bob Dylan and Georgia Satellites and shares their love for vintage sounds entwined with modern sensibilities. She’s brought us a nostalgically fresh sound that is rather subtly addictive.
