Cornish musician and actor Sam Palladio has just released catchy pop anthem ‘Gone Like The Summer’, ahead of the release of his debut album, which is due in September.
The track is a soft, lighthearted and uplifting indie track with great vocals and hazy vocal harmonies and brings a bright and playful sound to our playlists. The upcoming debut album is promising to be more of this soulful indie sound combined with hints of pop, rock, and Americana and collaborations with Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil and Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett. Sam is combining the different musical influences that have coloured his life over the years and brings us a wandering indie sound.
‘Gone Like The Summer’ was co-written with Kaiser Chiefs’ drummer Nick Hodgeson and its video features Sam and actress Scout Taylor-Compton. So this my be a debut, the artist clearly has his network at the ready to make sure his music will make an impact and turn heads. His is a fanatic and powerful, yet at times a tad too safe, a sound and we’re looking forward to hearing the rest of his debut LP!
