‘Elevator Music’ is the paradox recently released by Georgia-based multi-instrumentalist Cailin Pitt. The enigmatic indie rock release is a wandering and exciting one and a great introduction to his sound!
In 2015, Cailin Pitt started writing and releasing music and with ‘Elevator Music’ gives us a track slowly building towards a catchy indie rock chorus. Driven by powerful guitar lines drenched in reverb and vocals sounding like they are bouncing off the walls of a cave, he’s created an exciting sound that pushes genre boundaries and brings an experimental sound to our playlists!
He released his first EP ‘Details’ in 2018 and takes his influences from musical greats such as Death Cab for Cutie and The National, when he’s not writing solo material, he drums with Fabricated Freedom. The multi-faceted musician has clearly gone and peeked at what others are doing to gain inspiration for his own style and sound, and created a refreshing blend of influences and inspiration to in return inspire others with!
