Kids In Glass Houses – Vulnerable

A new and colourful, shimmering pop rock sound was released by Kids In Glass Houses, their latest ‘Vulnerable’, is a radiant new alternative pop release!

This anthemic summer bop gives us the energetic push we need on a weekday morning, and makes us twirl around the house like there is no tomorrow. Kids In Glass Houses have written a short story supported by a sound that makes us feel seen, understood, and loved, all at the same time. Its hook, “you know you make me vulnerable, ’cause you’re the only one I want”, reminds us of addictive Netflix-series Lucifer, ‘Vulnerable’ could’ve easily been its soundtrack!

This charismatic pop track is one we have had on repeat for days, as it is a track driven by subtle synths and powerful vocals that is one we can simply not get enough of! The Welsh five piece have been releasing music for years and seem to now have come to a point where their sound is an established and determined one that they will hopefully stick with for the foreseeable. ‘Vulnerable’ is taken from the upcoming fifth studio album, ‘Pink Flamingo’, which is set for release on the 25th of October of this year!

On ‘Vulnerable’, singer Aled added: “Pretty self-explanatory, but it is a song about love being the most amazing thing but terrifying concept – where your life and happiness is intrinsically tied to someone else. I think ours and the younger generations’ relationships are no longer seen as something to be worked on. We now move onto people like we do TV shows and I think people have increasingly unrealistic expectations because of how available everything has been made but how disposable everything has become. It’s all a hot mess.” Couldn’t have said it better ourselves…

Kids In Glass Houses will be touring the country soon, so make sure to tag along for the ride and keep an eye on any musical news undoubtedly to be shared by the band soon!
