Legendary Britpop icons Oasis have announced their first UK and Ireland shows in sixteen years. Tickets go on sale from Saturday the 31st of August.
The day we never thought would come has finally arrived, the news feels surreal and it’s brought together an audience with an age range as wide as the world population. Today they the band have ended years of feverish speculation of a long-awaited return to the stage, with the band hitting Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin in the summer of 2025. We’ve been told the live Oasis experience is unlike anything else, and we believe it will be with a set of classic we’ve all become so very familiar with.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher have flourished with their own projects over the years since the band split in 2009, but Oasis is something else. We’re told the timing is simply right for a reunion, yet subsequently this Thursday marks thirty years to the day since the release of their electrifying debut ‘Definitely Maybe’, coincidence? We think not. The band’s legend has only amplified over the years, gaining new fans with every child being born from a pair of parents rightfully being entranced by hits such as ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, ‘Champagne Supernova’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, ‘Half The World Away’, and of course ‘Wonderwall’.
On their return, the band commented:
“The guns have fallen silent.
The stars have aligned.
The great wait is over.
Come see.
It will not be televised.”
Let’s relive their magnificence.
