Shoegaze pioneers RIDE head to Newcastle’s Boiler Shop

90’s shoegaze pioneers RIDE return to the stage with a series of live dates across the UK and Ireland. Their captivating and hazy sound will never bore us, so here we are exciting you with us for the return of RIDE.

The band have released their third album since reforming in 2014 and have now been together longer in their second then in their first phase. Their sound, however, has lost none of its original magic and might have even gained in strength. Soft haziness, an unhurried confidence and warm vocal tones colour our days with RIDE through the speakers. The Oxford four piece bring together frenzied guitar attacks with hypnotic grooves and dreamy melodic hooks.

They expand and open up, bring an emotive sound to our playlists and young ears since the renewed interest in shoegaze. They’ll be hitting Belfast, Dublin Cork, Sheffield, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, and most notably; Newcastle’s Boiler Shop. The 800 capacity venue will undoubtedly be filled with a wide range of music enthusiasts looking to float away on the sound of RIDE.
