In the first six weeks Luke’s daughter Theodora was born, he wrote and recorded a new album that attempts to articulate some of the big emotions he was feeling at the time. ‘Theo’ is a collection of songs that spilled from his heart that is now a thousand times bigger, and was recorded in opportunistic recording sessions in the bedroom studio he and his family share.
‘Spinning’ builds on a hazy and angelic guitar-driven soundscape and is the ballad we didn’t know we needed. Spinning around stunning and delicate vocals, the song slowly builds towards an exciting folk pop chorus.
