Captivating alternative folk artist David C Clements is due to release his new album ‘The Garden’ this Friday, and teased us with collaborative track ‘Little Outside’, which he co-wrote with Snow Patrol’s Iain Archer.
‘Little Outsider’ is a beautifully intricate alternative pop song with soft vocals and vocal harmonies and brings a refreshingly hazy pop sound to our speakers. ‘Little Outsider’ is the most euphoric of the upcoming album, and follow previously released double single ‘Contrast’ / ‘The Garden’. The Northern Irish singer songwriter worked with Archer on this warm and autumn aesthetic track, rich and vibrant in musical textures, ‘Little Outsider’ offers a very pleasant listening experience.
David C Clements will be taking to the stage at Ulster Hall on the 20th of December to celebrate the release of the new album. On the new album; Clements calls time a blessing and a curse, it took him eight years since the debut album to offer up ‘The Garden’, featuring exciting collaborations and co-writes. In spending the best part of a decade writing and recording ‘The Garden’, David “accidentally journaled” some key moments in his life, offering a unique and open-hearted insight into moments and memories.
