Public Order – STRANGER

Welsh indie rock outfit Public Order just released their latest anthem ‘STRANGER’, and it’s as addictive as their live show!

We saw the band perform at a packed The Louisiana in Bristol and have been keeping tabs on their musical endeavours ever since. ‘STRANGER’ is a strong piece of anthemic and eclectic indie rock we can’t get enough of. The single was released on Ignition Records and showcases the band’s skill to create outstanding indie rock anthems that hint at influences taken from indie, rock, shoegaze and synth rock. They’ve been on hiatus before the release of their comeback track ‘HELLO’, and have clearly wiped their visors and return to the charts with renewed energy supporting artists such as Razorlight and Jamie Webster.

The electronic tinged indie sound we hear on ‘STRANGER’ sets Public Order apart from others within their genre, and adopts an atmospheric edge. On ‘STRANGER’, they said: “this is exactly what Public Order is about – it’s guitar music and storytelling, backed by synths and drums of the dance music we love and grew up on”. They’ll be touring the country until the end of the year and we can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for Public Order!
