“‘River Of Tears’ explores the heartbreak of being in a relationship you always knew was doomed, yet still struggling to accept its inevitable end. We originally wrote this on piano but found the darker production worked so well we had no choice but to go for it. This song was a turning point for the album and even a little for us as writers.” Cinematically shimmering and tantalising storytelling make ‘River Of Tears’ an addictive listen and an eye-opening entry into the new anthemic indie pop world.
