Her gentle, open-hearted and touching song writing, brought together with with her way of crating soul-stirring soundscapes never tires me nor do I ever get used to the way she brings up new emotions within me. Her latest ballad talks about the quiet grief of letting go, even when it’s the right thing to do. It’s a terrifying step to take, to leave someone behind despite knowing it’s what’s best for you. The song reflects on the deep emotional weight of parting ways with someone, capturing the heartbreak of unravelling a shared life. néomí helped me come to terms with certain elements of life I hadn’t yet dared to face.

I wrote this song as a reminder that time will ease that pain, as long as you just move on and make good choices for yourself.”
