Walter The Producer – Roadtrip

A softly shimmering indie rock anthem that slowly introduces thumping drums and soaring vocals and hazy harmonies colours our living room as we listen to Walter The Producer‘s ‘Roadtrip’.

Taking us on a roadtrip through soundscapes, the track blends an organised chaos of sounds and influences and anticipates our longing for a disco-infused alternative pop rock release that moves like a shapeshifter. Walter The Producer has created a colourful and vibrant sound that surprises every second of every minute. Still mysterious, unbothered, and adamantly wildly talented, Walter The Producer isn’t saying much, yet the music says it all.

‘Roadtrip’ follows previously released singles ‘Little Lies’ and ‘Bad Bad Man’ and appears on the latest six track counting ‘Modern Rock’ EP. ‘Roadtrip’ captures his signature fusion of nostalgic textures and forward-thinking production, unable to fit within a singular genre. He laid down the initial draft in his apartment before linking up with Maxx Morando (Liily, Miley Cyrus), spending a few days adding live instrumentation and drums to bring the track to life.

Having been making, playing and creating beats and music since he was 10 years old, we hear all the influences that passed the revue over time, they come together seamlessly and make us long for more of his genre-hopping sound.
