Emerging artists are being offered the opportunity to play alongside The Lottery Winners, Stone, The Lilacs, Finn Forster, and many more at This Feeling By The Sea this summer in Bridlington Spa on the 29th and 30th of August!
Combine a brilliant line-up of grand headliners, the next wave of indie rock talents, a stunning beautiful seaside ballroom and a fan community from across the UK and beyond, and you have a summer festival highlight. If you are in an emerging band, this is your opportunity to share a line-up with acts such as the aforementioned together with Stanleys, The Covasettes, and Whitby’s own; Sunbeam!
This Feeling By The Sea will provide two independent bands and artists a platform at this year’s event. BBC Introducing’s Jericho Keys will pick a local winner from Yorkshire to get the party starting on Friday, while Radio X’s John Kennedy will pick a national winner to open on Saturday. Artists can apply here, applications will close on the 25th of July before the winners will be revealed on the 31st of July. Previous Misfits-interviewee Alex Spencer was a 2024 competition winner and just released his new EP ‘Where Do We Go From Here?’ which was supported by Radio 1’s Future Pop.
Aside from the announcement of the competition, This Feeling By The Sea’s Saturday line-up has been boosted by the addition of The Sway, who made a remarkable Glastonbury debut last weekend and previously supported The Libertine and Jamie Webster. This Feeling is proud to have supported those that are gracing the bill and there’s a lot more to come from these versatile indie talents!
