KC Blackwater show they’re a band hard to ignore with the release of ‘Machina Vult’, punching victoriously in the air, the track is an anthem for the enraged.
The Milton Keynes-based bedroom punk band grab us by the balls with their refreshingly DIY punk sound, one we’ve not heard this raw and angry in a while. On the track they showcase their skills for hard-hitting lyricism, talking about modern day struggles and of the layman, pairing it with filthy riffs and drums that hit ferociously. Undeniably angry while at the same time energetic and engaging, ‘Machina Vult’ is a punk anthem you can sway along as well as headbang to.
Angered by modern day society profiting off of hatred and fear, platforming and promoting hateful men that spew nonsense, rage-baiting and pointing fingers at helpless communities is what’s driven KC Blackwater into this corner of angry punk and despite the reason being horrid, the music that comes from it is wonderfully addictive. While all their songs have been written, recorded, and produced by frontman Cam Owden, all members of KC Blackwater bring their own style and flavour to their music, making it a deliciously unique flavour of its own.
