There we go, our new punk tune! It’s written and produced by Bad Dates and the title is ‘Hands’. It’s the first single of the new record that is due for release at the end of this year and it promises to be more of what we’ve just heard from their latest single. It’s an angry and upbeat scream about a psychosis induced by a post-apocalyptic reality. “Adrian and Josh can only process their lives through the lenses of video games, sci-fi and pop culture. Those are the mirrors with which they reflect on themselves.”
Bad Dates combine influences drawn from punk, rock and alternative rock and have whisked together their own unique sound. The four-piece raised their love-music-child in Ontario and with this new single are hopefully finally crossing boundaries properly. I would love to hear more of the band!
