Jesse D’Kora just released his second single ‘morning light’, a hazy and somewhat drunken sound, recognisable and familiar in its own rather eccentric way. The song was inspired by those unforgettable nights that are mostly forgotten, and tries to tell the story of an incompatible couple.
Its chorus jumps and waves, ebbs and flows with its rather romantic sound. Jesse says “Writing songs about love or relationships is something which I tend to wince whilst doing, however with this track the mood just kind of felt right.” Its guitar-lines strike notes that come together smoothly with its soothing vibe and they are what make ‘morning light’ a striking and memorable release!
