Here’s a delightfully absurd new track we simply couldn’t ignore, it’s Bristol-based MP3 Chainsaw‘s ‘Clydecore’! The shimmering synth rock track is a driving and engaging one, hook-filled from the get-go. The band have all previously cut their teeth in projects of varying styles and have now brought those different styles together to create a hyper eclectiic rock sound!
The five-piece sound chaotic on paper and in sound, but it’s a captivating and organised kind of chaos. With a soundscape moving like a roller-coaster and sharp almost spoken vocals, the song takes us on an exciting musical journey from the beginning until the very end. ‘Clydecore’ is a great introduction to the maximalist style they’ve been perfecting in their live performances. Their playfulness shines through on the new single, and it is a great way for them to open the door to the music scene outside of Bristol!
