I got Squid on my radar about half a year ago and got absolutely hooked on their tune ‘The Dial’. It’s this absurd and weird sound they completely made their own even though it seems like an upcoming trend to be weird and scream about things you’re unhappy of. Squid makes music that falls just outside of every genre, but you could call it weird punk or alternative rock if you fancy. I sadly missed their last release ‘Houseplants’, released about a month ago, but I found it now and better late than never, am I right?!
