A cheerful, upbeat and tingeling new summer tune has been released by Birmingham five-some Ivory Wave. ‘Uptown’ is full with synthy hooks and electronically reformed vocals that chant and make sure to be easily sang along to. The band played a banging show in London, blew the audience away at Y Not Festival and have been played on BBC Radio 1. The band has taken off and are eager to do more and do it better. ‘Uptown’ is a catchy and playful indie groove song and with this single and sound, Ivory Wave created a genre of their own.
