The Gentleman Busker, One Million Motors, Your Graduation and Brutalligators live at The Central Bar

Gateshead is a pandemonium full of talented rock bands. Tonight The Central Bar was bursting at the seams with what was going on during a collaboration between Revival Live and Pillar Artists. Four artists took the stage and even though the turn-out wasn’t what it should have been, the bands knew exactly how to win over the small crowd. The Gentleman Busker bit it off with his passionate indie singer songwriter style and his alternate guitar lines. His sharp and impressive voice knew how to get the crowd to be silent during his songs, however when trying to interact the crowd wasn’t really having it. It didn’t really matter though, because he won our hearts over and made sure to leave an impression of a man who doesn’t just give up.

One Million Motors literally turned up the volume and the speed of the music with their catchy punk-rock and inspired by new wave with a nod to 90’s rock. Well performed vocals and contagious energy coming of the stage and pulling the crowd forward made it a perfect build up for the next two bands performing. Next up was Your Graduation, a 4 piece pop-punk band from Durham who are inspired by the sound of early 2000’s and know how to bring their music to their future fans. Their DIY attitude is the reason why it seems that the band knows exactly what they’re working on and what they’re doing it for. Now Brutalligators have been our new favourite post-punk band since the release of their new single ‘Crows’ and seeing them live on stage and feeling their energy and sweat dripping on us was exactly what we needed to see and hear. Talented, convincing, loud, clear and powerful, that’s what Brutalligators are, live and recorded!
