Melpo Mene – All Of This Is True

Melpo Mene takes listeners on an introspective odyssey with his new single ‘All Of This Is True’. A finger picked acoustic guitar lead is joined by the Swedish songwriter’s sensitive vocals and a straightforward four on the floor drum beat. The drums become busier leading into the chorus as emotional synths and heavily reverbed electric guitars create an enchanting soundscape. Spanish vocalist Russian Red helms the second verse of the song accompanied by triumphant strings that carry over into a duet between Red and Mene on the second chorus. Their voices compliment each other well with Red’s upper register reminiscent of prime Lana Del Ray. With lyrics pondering the cyclical nature of life and the universal nature of human experience, ‘All Of This Is True’ feels like a familiar dream worth revisiting again and again.
