The very talented Gal Musette deserved her own dedicated page, so here we are! We reviewed her single ‘Honeymoon’ and shared ‘Summertime’, and are excited to share her next releases with you!
She has returned with a softly mysterious new alternative rock sound that slowly builds towards a Wednesday-esque chorus. ‘Pendulum’ is a gorgeously crafted and hazy, reflective song with her beautifully sharp vocals in the spotlight. ‘Pendulum’ is also the name of her second album which was released earlier this month. The record and its title track blend electronic and acoustic elements with the use of real percussion accentuated with drum machines and synths.
This softly thumping, carefully uplifting new single is potentially our favourite of Gal Musette. ‘Into the Blue’ is a sweet and shimmering alternative pop song with her beautiful vocals shining bright and its soundscape giving our summer some more colour. The ambitious and dreamy song talks about discovering who you really are just before it is too late…

Her gorgeous vocals get to truly shine in this mix and its soft and warm soundscape listens like a warm blanket, a comforting friend you haven’t yet met. Gal’s latest is called ‘Plateau’ and its driving hazy pop soundscape is still echoing in my head after having listened to this new piece of art about six times. The song describes the human experience of being completely numb to emotions and or feelings. The single will soon be followed by an album which I personally can’t wait for! ‘Plateau’ is a great and breathing, atmospheric taster of what is yet to come.
Gal Musette’s latest is a more upbeat one with a slightly echoing soundscape and her soft, memorable vocals in the forefront of the mix. She wrote ‘Oliver’ about her first love, “it started out as a letter and later turned into a song. To me this song is about feeling alone in a crowd, feeling ignored by the one person you want attention from, and having the epiphany of what all these millions of love songs are about on this planet.” It’s soft, romantic and sweet and we very much enjoy this side of Gal Musettte!
Gal’s latest masterpiece is the introspective and pensive ‘Julia’, which comes with a mesmerising video that shows peculiar scenes at a beach. The song is about adolescent loneliness and fear and is told by the beautifully soft vocals of Gal Musette!
‘Ghost’ is another refined, melodic pop piece that is built on supporting harmonies that bring layer after layer of soothing melody. Beautifully crafted and with sharp vocals, ‘Ghost’ is sweet and simplistic, and will follow us around in our dreams.
