Artist Spotlight: Emmrose

We have previously premiered multiple singles from the hand of the ever mesmerising Emmrose, so it felt about the right time to publish her own dedicated Artist Spotlight page. Welcome to the world of Emmrose!

The young singer songstress began writing and releasing music four years ago when she wrote her first pop song in math class. The has so far released a plethora of singles, an award-winning EP and she is currently working on the sophomore EP while going to college in New York City. Her prolific vocals and lyrics make for beautiful pieces of angelic pop and below you can find short reviews of her latest releases!

17 Inside

Emmrose is back with the beautifully fragile ’17 Inside’, about being a seventeen-year-old in her bedroom in Manhattan. She didn’t see friends in person and conversations suddenly ended… The one good thing that came from a year inside was her new and colourful indie pop song!

Coffee and Commitment

Her latest is another pensive pop piece with a warm intro and grand, powerful vocals that lead us through ‘Coffee and Commitment’. An upbeat and refreshing, outstanding alternative pop sound drives the single and brings it home, Emmrose keeps on growing sound- and lyric-wise and ‘Coffee and Commitment’ might be one of her catchiest to date. Steadily paced and very well-produced, her latest single is cementing her position with the modern musical landscape and makes us long for more!

The Feeling’s Mutual

Her latest pop anthem is about toxic friendships, about ‘The Feeling’s Mutual’ Emmrose said: “I was done feeling insecure about my music, and I wanted all my friends to be supportive of what I was passionate about.” A very relatable topic that has now received it’s very own sweet summer anthem, a way for us all to process and move on.
