The genre-bending alternative rock experimentalists in Squid have just announced a series of intimate shows partnering with record shops all around the UK. On the 9th of June the band are releasing their second album ‘O Monolith’, on the 10th of June their tour across some of the UK’s record stores starts! Tickets for this tour are now available here.
Squid will be performing songs from the new record and there will be an exclusive cassette version of the album available on this run of shows. ‘O Monolith’ retains the restless and stubborn sound of Squid and their enigmatic spirit, “We’re quite a musically stubborn band and, in an endearing way, it’s a stubborn record” , says singer Ollie Judge.
