Okay, that was me, but I can assure you that De Mariarti have picked the best parts out of pop punk and combine it with some delicious alternative rock vibes that make this a wonderfully infectious new release. ‘I’m Nobody’s Back Up Plan’ is the second single of the upcoming album, out in six weeks. The band themselves describe this single as being like eating a banana milkshake on a hot afternoon in July. I can picture it and I can see the skaters skating by with their boombox out of which this specific single blasts.
