It’s only been two years since Jaie Rose has been singing, yet it’s hard to tell she’s not had much experience. ‘All Of The Above’ is her latest single and was released last month. It took her time and courage to get into the studio and start recording her figments, but Jaie finally achieved what she has been working towards for the past couple of years. I am happy the young singer songwriter stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight, as her laid back jazz-like sound is one that has been missing from the playlists if you ask me!
Jaie Rose is only 17, yet her voice sounds more developed and refined than that of a 17-year-old girl. The young artist writes from her own experiences and prides herself for being a regular teenage girl, and being an all-round awkward person. “I was always branded as an awkward and weird person and it’s great to be able to break out of that shell and be a confident, awkward and weird person. I’m basically Lewis Capaldi with hair.” ‘All Of The Above’ is generally about ex-boyfriends that send out mixed messages, and it is a personal diary of what goes on in Jaie’s head. I am very curious to see what the future has in store for Jaie’s fantasies as well as her musical career!
