ODDA releases a refreshingly quirky video for debut single “Mama”; simultaneously being both engaging and artistic, seemingly with effortless ease. The visuals are well-suited to the music, giving a laid-back video-narrative, whilst giving a glimpse into the personality of the artist.
The song, as a separate entity, has a lo-fi character with a great deal of subtle emotion. Vocals are airy and solemn, but never become self-indulgent; remaining more pensive throughout. The instrumentation is loose; lots of space has been left for each melody to breath and this works perfectly.
