North East-based alt rock trio Elephant Memoirs have just released soaring and eye-opening single ‘Fairytales’, starting off grand and to the point with “I built my whole life on fairytales…” There is no escaping both lyricism and soundscape as they do not beat around the bush and bring a grand and catchy sound that is changing at all times!
Their instrumental parts are at all times inventive and built around thumping drums and surprising guitar riffs, the vocals of front man John Aspinall fitting into the instrumental compositions like a last missing piece of the puzzle. An incredibly well-balanced mix makes for this single to be a rocky gem that will hopefully elevate the bands’ career and future prospects!
