A catchy and infectious, heart-warming, smile-delivering new single has been released by Scottish festival veterans The Micro Band. Their new release ‘Bridge of Eden’ resembles the sound of Belgium festival veterans Balthazar and is a party to my ears. There’s a bit of everything; grand hooks, filling harmonies, a multi-dimensional soundscape and a chorus that flows smoothly from one part bridge into the other.
The band recorded ‘Bridge of Eden’ at the start of 2020 in their own underground studio and the single is built on pounding drums and talks of hedonism and a chaotic summer that never was. Despite dark clouds hanging over our memories of last year, The Micro Band are making those clouds disappear with their uplifting and energising new sound!
