Echo Frame muses on the desire for change on his energetic new single ‘Red Carpet’. This is the third single to date by Vancouver based singer/songwriter and producer Luke Frame and this track further solidifies his hands-on lo fi/surf/indie rock sound. Right away we are treated to a spritely guitar line, hand claps, and a bouncy rhythm while Frame reflects on past mistakes and a list of unfulfilled wishes. The chorus is punched up with heavily reverbed chords coupled with multi layered vocals. These layers of vocal harmony return again with great effect on the lyrically verbose bridge joined by pulsing keys which take the track to the finish line. ‘Red Carpet’ is an enjoyable number from Echo Frame and a promising indication of what is to come from this emerging indie rock act.
