‘Another Superman’ is AJ Wilson‘s first release and talks about fear and anxiety caused by social media. The indie pop piece starts of with strumming guitars and builds up nicely towards an almost eruptive sound that spins around the raw voice of AJ. The London-based singer and multi-instrumentalist has created quite the simple indie sound but with a strong structure that gives the song and its message its depth!
‘Another Superman’ spells out a fictional story of someone who is lost in their ways, but then realises that they’re not alone. AJ’s debut release sounds hopeful and supporting and is hopefully the start of something bigger and even better. Wilson fell in love with music at the age of 4 and quickly found himself at home on the guitar, at the age of 16 he won a scholarship for London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. 6 years further and he is kicking of his musical career, combining his musical influences from the past, with stories from the heart.
